Is there an official version of phonetic transcription of Hindi?
Sometimes I read "namasthey" and sometimes "namaste". 'hu' or 'hun'.
Most of the time I write Hindi in mails, so, as above it's phonetic, but I have 2 books where I study from (one in French and one in English) but it's not always written the same way. One official version would really be practical.
